Opening week of the NBA season finishes up on Friday with three games.
In the Eastern Conference, the No. 1 seed Heat are playing up to their seed with a pair of impressive wins over the Hawks heading into Game 3. The Bulls meanwhile bounced back in Game 2 with DeMar DeRozan’s 41 points pulling Chicago even with the defending champion Bucks. Khris Middleton left in Game 2 with a sprained MCL and has been ruled out for the rest of the first round.
In the Western Conference, a hamstring injury to Devin Booker suddenly has the No. 1 seed Suns potentially on the ropes after the Pelicans stole Game 2 to even that series 1-1.Â
